Next Ingredients was founded in 2017 from the observation that market supply and demand are changing with a rapidity unknown until recent times.
Today, we are a modern company constantly searching for new ingredients, applications and innovative combinations to improve the performance of our customers’ products through tailored solutions.
A central part of our Core Business is the world of Gluten-Free products consumed by those with celiac disease or intolerance, but also by an increasing part of the population.
For this sector we distribute the base raw materials, which we import directly from the countries of origin, such as: Psyllium (India), soybean and pea vegetable protein (China and also EU), tapioca starch (Thailand) and corn starch (EU).
In addition, Next Ingredients exclusively distributes PASTAE MATER i.e., a next-generation Mother Yeast in powder form that contains the probiotic lactic yeast Kluyveromyces L. marxianus fragilis B0399™, selected strains of Saccharomyces spp. and enzymes supported on rice flour and quinoa.
This product was developed with Turval Laboratories in Udine, Italy, a 100% Italian company. Pastae Mater is naturally gluten-free and has the advantage of having a standardized composition compared to ordinary sourdough, as it does not need refreshments.
It can be used as a leavening agent, after recovery in water, or as a flavoring agent directly in the dough to make baked goods tastier and more fragrant with the flavour and fragrance of the past. In addition, leavened products are more digestible and have a longer shelf-life.
Finally, it is a unique marketing element for labelling products even in those applications where it is not possible, for production reasons, to use an acid mother because industrial timing does not allow it.
