Quality, sustainability and service guaranteed

The Tarulli OP Group has grown and commercialized table grapes from organic farming practices since 1993. The idea to convert traditional farming practices in the wine sector to Organic Agriculture stemmed from an initiative set in motion by Dr. Antonio Tarulli, who, out of a personal appreciation of this sector, began his exciting journey into the organic farming world by implementing new techniques for the production of Organic grapes.

The Tarulli OP Group was formed in 2007 following the merger of several smaller companies and provided the OP legal configuration: a producing organization! The company is between Bari and Taranto. The relationship between Puglia and wine making has ancient origins. The region has always had, in fact, an optimal soil, climate and position suitable for grape cultivation.

The company has always understood the importance of investing in the environment. By striving to use natural resources and substances as forms of energy, be they environmental or biological, the company can respond to production demands which are transformed and enhanced to prevent pollution via unique verification systems and careful water application techniques.

This crystallizes the company’s commitment to cultivate fruit without the use of pesticides, despite the obvious inconveniences, ensuring an an eco-friendly alternative for biological farming.

The company’s environmental ethic is also the driving force behind a continuous search for eco-sustainable, biodegradable and reusable solutions for packaging, beside the traditional alternatives.

The company’s 350 hectares of vineyards annually produce circa 9,000 tons of ORGANIC and BIODYNAMIC TABLE GRAPES and guarantee customers a supply of FRESH GRAPES for 5 consecutive months. The 50 varieties differ in color, taste, harvesting time, and presence or absence of seeds. Among the seedless varieties there are many new entries, thanks to recent collaborations with several international grape cultivators.

The Tarulli group is certified by the CPPB for its organic farming practices, as well as Bio Suisse. In 2015, the company was certified by DEMETER and since then has continually implemented changes such as implementing a controlled surface area, which today amounts to around half of the total production area. Demeter certification requires the fertilization, cultivation, and planting respects and promotes the fertility and vitality of the land and at the same time, unique qualities and skills of local flora and fauna.
