What are the main activities of Toscana Trading?  

We are an Italian company specialized in the import, distribution and sale of ingredients and additives for the food and cosmetic industries, and sectors such as construction, adhesives, cleaning and much more. 

How did the company specialize in the food and cosmetic industry market?  

Over the years we have focused on products and renewable natural resources, such as vegetable waxes and resins produced in India, Brazil, China and Indonesia, trying to enrich the list of raw materials available for immediate delivery, to better respond to requests of customers. 

How many years has Toscana Trading been on the market and what are its strengths?  

We have been present on the ingredients and additives market for over twenty years, our strengths are the flexibility of the service, also understood as customer support and growth orientation, we do not impose any minimum order and we try to avoid payments anticipate. We only deal with high quality raw materials, we reply to requests for quotations within 24 hours and we carry out urgent deliveries. 

How does the company guarantee the quality control of incoming raw materials and the selection of foreign suppliers?  

We have been ISO 9001 certified since 2006 and therefore all the processes of supplier selection, quality control, storage, non-compliance, lot recall and everything related to product management are controlled at every stage of the process.

The raw materials treated are carefully selected, starting from the principles of eco-sustainability and safety, both for man and for the environment. The catalog of natural products for the various food sectors includes everything needed for the production, conservation and presentation of food and beverages, in full compliance with the provisions in force in Italy and Europe.  

How does Toscana Trading try to satisfy customer requests?  

The arrangement of raw materials ready for delivery requires careful work: our purchasing department calculates the sales on the history of the previous 3 years and carries out the weekly inventory control to schedule new arrivals, then the salesperson tries to predict market trends and of customers to anticipate requests and finally we keep in stock goods engaged by end customers with open orders for scheduled monthly deliveries. Today we have a range of around 60 raw materials at our Livorno warehouse which allows us to move tons of product and make thousands of deliveries every year.
