ITALIAN FOOD TRENDS

Italian foods are set to become even more popular in 2023. Supermarkets in general are seeing an upturn in sales of foods such as pasta, pizza and Italian sauces. One of the main reasons for this is the rise in inflation that many countries are seeing. Food distribution and food retail services can offer relatively low prices on Italian food products as they are quite cheap to produce.

Being able to create a cheap, filling meal is going to be an essential skill for many families. Some supermarkets are actively promoting basic recipes that will help people to move away from the more expensive pre-made microwave meals that don’t have the same nutritional value. Supermarket promotions and special prices are also helping to boost the sales of Italian foods.

Italian food is easy to prepare, is delicious and it is very easy to experiment with the recipes. The food wholesale industry has responded to increased demand for pasta and other Italian products and now there is a variety of different pasta types available in supermarkets, along with different sauces that can have extra ingredients added such as meat and vegetables to create interesting and tasty meals that the whole family can enjoy.
