Legumi Schioppi: a wide range of products, selected and of high quality, with the taste of an ancient tradition

Legumi Schioppi is a modern reality that makes of its history and tradition the key points to interpret present and future.

It all began at the beginning of the 1900s, when Pasquale Schioppi and his son Luigi, among many difficulties, started the commercialization of cereals and dried legumes, collecting the product from the best production areas at a national level. Luigi Schioppi, thanks to his strong entrepreneurial intuition and his high knowledge of the product, has always set as the primary objective of his activity that of offering to the consumers a product selected with love and competence in order to guarantee on the table products of indisputable quality and without compromises.

In over 80 years, the brand has gone through continuous changes and implementations, demonstrating, with facts in hand, that it has been able to adapt to market changes, with continuous research of raw materials at an international level, always adopting the latest technology, both in processing and packaging. Many and remarkable have been the novelties and the business transformations, except one: the passion for a poor but not simple and never obvious product.

The supply of raw materials, today more than ever, takes place through national and international channels based on the highest quality standards. Great investments and results have been obtained in the quality control that today is constant in every phase of processing, from the entry of the goods until the final packaging. Nothing is left to the case. In 2004 the brand received the prestigious Mercurio D’oro award as a testimony of its entrepreneurial merits. Since 2008 the company, now an industrial company, is certified ISO:9001/2000 and then ISO:9001/2008 by TUV ITALY that certifies the impeccability of all processing phases: from the purchase of raw materials to the delivery of the finished product to the stores.

The many appreciations of consumers who every day bring to the table the products of Legumi Schioppi, whose range is constantly enriched by several new products, gratify the daily commitment of the company, as well as ensuring a constant increase in profit, product and process innovation.

Nowadays, the product line is remarkably wide and deep regarding the brand’s core-business: dried legumes, cereals, soups, “insalariso”, special flours and pop-corn. From a spin-off of the brand was then born in 2016 a project of range expansion that allowed the brand the fulfillment of the references with bronze-drawn pasta, special salts and fine spices.

In 2020, with great confidence towards the future, the brand renews itself with a new packaging and corporate identity project that will end in 2021 with the launch of a new e-commerce project aimed at supporting a process of bringing the customer closer to the brand and a change in distribution channels. Who loves eating well, chooses Schioppi products!
