Eshop, the innovative app by Cattel SpA – a leading company in the North of Italy in the distribution of food products in the Ho.Re.Ca channel – has been online. Having to collect an average of 1,200-1,300 orders daily, with Eshop Cattel has provided itself with a solution enabling clients to “fill their shopping carts” by themselves whenever it suits them, and sales agents to focus on giving them advice and support by helping them choose the items that best fit their requirements/ customers, and by describing them new products and offers.
Eshop Cattel includes several sections: “all products” enables to see the whole assortment, “new products” provides a list of all new arrivals, the “search” function enables to find specific items or to search by category (by entering the first three letters).
Clients are particularly fond of “the usual” section, which includes recently purchased items and enables to place an order offline too (this option was designed to favour clients who need to complete their orders in areas with no Wi-Fi signal, such as refrigerating rooms or underground pantries and store rooms).
Moreover, the app enables to choose the most suitable delivery date and, through the “order history” section, find previous orders and orders that are being processed.
Eshop Cattel is the result of a twenty-year long collaboration with Aton SpA Società Benefit (aton. com), an Italian company committed in business digitalization. This union has given birth to an’app that is much more than e-commerce: it is a sales and communication channel which, thanks to its simple and customer-friendly interface, can be easily used by non-technology lovers.
