Emilia Foods has always paid high attention to the study and development of highly innovative products, actively working to be a breeding ground for the growth of both its PL customers, large international distribution chains and brands, and its own brand, Via Emilia, which the Modena-based firm aims to grow internationally. The company looks with great optimism at the Far East and the Middle East, as well as the USA, a constantly growing market that continues to be of fundamental importance in its expansion process.
The company, established by Ivan Manfredi in 2013, has always set the goal of being the proactive market leader specialized in high-end, healthy products, both conventional and organic. Moreover, in recent years, another challenge has been added: aiming for their more all-embracing sustainability.
In this context, Emilia Foods launched several new products that are present in national and international markets today. The plant-based line, the vegan and vegetarian meat alternatives for an audience of flexitarian consumers, aims to provide a range of products designed to be inclusive; ideal for those who want to approach a balanced diet aimed at reducing meat consumption and want to make responsible food choices. At the same time, in recent years, Emilia Foods carefully studied and developed products capable of fully embracing the beneficial properties of vegetables and legumes used as main raw materials.
This has led to the creation of entire lines of gluten-free cauliflower-based pasta, ready meals, and pizza, perfect for a vegetarian and vegan diet and which seek an increase in fiber and protein intake. Simultaneously, the Modena-based company also created a new line of ready meals based on riced legumes, such as chickpeas, peas, and lentils, that combines the convenience of eating a quick and complete meal with the inevitable all-Made in Italy taste.
In this way, Emilia Foods affirms its ability to answer, but above all, to anticipate the global challenges that are rapidly emerging in terms of both product and sustainability.
