Agrover: The Italian Rice Brand Conquering the World

In 1955, in Lignana (VC), brothers Giovanni and Francesco Mottino founded Riseria Mottino. In 2000, Agrover was born from the family business, at the initiative of Giovanni’s sons, Feliciano and Roberto, who successfully blended tradition and innovation in the rice industry. This year, the company celebrates 25 years of activity, staying true to its roots while looking forward to the future.

Agrover has become a leader in processing all types of rice, from risotto varieties to aromatic rice and sushi rice. The company stands out for its cutting-edge production process, featuring state-of-the-art machinery that ensures high-quality rice.

Agrover also has a modern packaging department with advanced lines to meet the diverse needs of its clients, offering everything from small packages to large formats.

Thanks to its long experience and solid expertise, Agrover meets global market demands by supplying rice to the food industry, large-scale distribution, and providing tailored solutions for the HORECA sector.
This vision is also reflected in the company’s brands, such as Agronature, a vacuum-sealed line offering organic and sustainable products for retail, the ARIA line featuring traditional Arborio and Carnaroli rice, and other brands focused on aromatic rice varieties.

Agrover’s commitment to sustainability is evident in its strict selection of raw materials sourced from farms that follow rigorous protocols. Product traceability is guaranteed by thorough controls, while international certifications such as BRCGS, IFS FOOD, Bioagricert, SRP, and Fairtrade attest to the company’s reliability and dedication to food quality and safety.

With a strong presence in global markets, Agrover continues to bring the best Italian rice to tables worldwide, representing the excellence of Italian tradition on the global stage.
