After an experience gained since 1986 in the fruit and vegetable sector, Alessandro and Daniela Morganti understand that the market is looking for cooked vegetables ready to be consumed; so in 2009 they formed Morganti Srl, a company specialized in the production and marketing of cooked vegetables of the V range.
In Basilicanova, near Parma, the cradle of eating well, they constitute the first establishment using the most modern technologies to best meet the needs of consumers and modern distribution. The Siamcotte brand is born, a name that emphasizes the service content of the products. The factory, the plants, the machinery and the production processes have been the subject of careful assessments by the quality controls of major retail brands as Morganti Srl is also supplier of branded products.
THE RAW MATERIAL
Every day Alessandro Morganti uses his thirty-year experience to select the best vegetables at the Parma fruit and vegetable market or, in cases of lack of local raw materials, he contacts his historical suppliers to obtain what is needed to produce the order of the day. The most important raw materials, especially potatoes, are the subject of particular care as Morganti Srl stipulates agreements with agricultural companies for the sowing of the most suitable qualities to obtain finished products of excellence.
WORKING
The raw material, once arrived in the company, is carefully cleaned, washed by hand, cooked with both conventional and steam ovens and, when necessary, is grilled. No Morganti Srl product is boiled to preserve the natural organoleptic and nutritional characteristics of fresh vegetables.
PACKAGING
The packaging takes place in ATM, using technologically advanced machinery to maintain the flavors for a long time and preserve the consistency of the raw materials. Morganti Srl is able to weigh, price and label both fixed weight and variable weight packages
THE CATERING LINE
Most of the products are also available in the Catering version, in packages of 2.5 / 3 kg. very practical for use by operators with high consumption such as food desks and restaurants: the product, to be served, must only be removed from the packaging and placed on the heated counters, eliminating labor costs and ensuring a high and constant standard of quality over time.
THE TAKE AWAY LINE
The whole assortment, with the exception of fresh vegetables, is available in Take Away packages of 200/300 gr. stored in a modified atmosphere and suitable to be heated in microwave oven by the final consumer for a practical and fast use.
LOGISTICS
Morganti Srl collaborates with companies specialized in the distribution of very fresh products, this allows to deliver the finished product in 48h in most of the Italian cities.
