La Casara Veg – Artisan gastronomy laboratory of excellence – was born in 2011 from our passion for a VITAL FOOD within everyone’s reach: vegans, vegetarians, omnivores, and ideal for those suffering from the most common intolerances or allergies, such as celiacs or intolerants lactose, always in plant based style. Our products are prepared in an artisanal way with high quality organic raw materials and without the use of additives.
La Casara Veg develops two sectors:
1. BioForMì – The processing and seasoning techniques define three product lines: seasoned, raw food and fresh spreads. The basis of our products is represented by dried fruit (cashews, almonds) or legumes such as soy and chickpeas, obtained in various forms.
The result is a selection of handcrafted products but with modern techniques, created with passion one by one through recipes to which years of research, experimentation and care have been dedicated.
The processing lines are dedicated to the production of vegetable food products to be offered both in retail stores and in large scale distribution, as well as in restaurants and pizzerias, collective catering, semi-finished products for food industries, private label too. BioForMì raw food products have a high vitality, and are particularly useful for the reconstruction of the intestinal microbial flora since they are obtained with a biological transformation process operated by microorganisms of the lactic bacteria family. The supply of nutrients is comparable to that of products of animal origin such as cheeses, and also offer a wide range of flavors and taste and organoleptic characteristics.
2. Sempreverde Biogermogli – with the production of crackers, granola, bars, activated almonds. By exploiting the potential of pre sprouted activated seeds, products with excellent qualities have been developed, drying at low temperatures to respect the characteristics of raw food products, long shelf life, particularly rich nutritional content, so much so that they are included in the superfood category.
