The dream of giving life to Casa vinicola Errico has its roots in the 40s, when with skill, passion and dedication, grandpa Vincenzo taught the art of grape processing to his first-born son Giuseppe, who – mindful and strong of his father’s experience – in 1990 took over “La Pignatella”, an ancient and prestigious winery.
It is here that Vincenzo, Giuseppe’s son, started to work as an employee until 2014, when with his sisters, Tea and Antonella, he finally realized the great family dream: Casa vinicola Errico.
Covering an area of 24,000 square meters in Cerignola, in the province of Foggia, the plant now boasts automated production lines and cutting-edge machinery that allow an annual production of 7 million liters of wine, accounting for 40,000 bottles that daily cross the national borders to reach foreign destinations.
Starting from autochthonous vines – highly recognized in the enological world for their prestige and quality which have always represented their primary characteristic – such as Nero di Troia, Fiano, Chardonnay Primitivo and Falanghina, Casa vinicola Errico makes fine wines capable of pleasing the most heterogeneous palates.
Respect for the territory, professionalism and competence made this entrepreneurial wine business well established over the years.
Casa vinicola Errico is a winery unique and unbeatable in the market, where it continues to be a landmark for good wine lovers and of the whole south of Italy.
