The company was founded in Palermo by Edoardo Cavallaro in 2000. He founded his business in the production of sweetened ricotta cheese. Edoardo was born into a family of cow breeders, but trained as a pastry chef. Because of the growing demand for products for “Sicilian pastries”, known and requested all over the world, he decided to base his business on the production of sweetened ricotta.
Today, the company “Cavallaro Ricotta” is a solid Sicilian reference point for its production, spreaded throughout Italy, and the world.
