CANTINA BAROLLO: Where the breeze of the Adriatic Sea meets the winds of the dolomites

Cantina Barollo comes to life from a dream that shaped itself in 2001, when the brothers Marco and Nicola Barollo decided to merge their passion for the wine world with an innovative business idea: to valorize an uncharted and richly potential geographic area, where the crisp air of the Dolomites meets the tempered climate of the Adriatic Sea.

Located in Preganziol, in the heart of the Treviso countryside that still withstands the Prosecco invasion, it is in this hospitable and mineral-rich land that Marco and Nicola have chosen to cultivate international vines such as Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Nero, and Cabernet Franc.

From the 40 hectares enveloping the winery, wines are born capable of expressing the minerality and the sapidity of these soils, especially in the most intriguing varieties like Chardonnay and the Bordeaux types, with Cabernet Franc leading the way.

More than 20 years since its inception, Cantina Barollo now features 7 labels and many successful challenges, including the production of the Metodo Classico Riserva Alfredo Barollo. Of course, there are wines that boast a profound connection with the territory, like the Merlot and the Prosecco. Numerous are the awards that have followed over the years with accolades achieved both nationally and internationally.

After broadening their offer with wine experiences in the winery, today, Marco and Nicola are ready to conquer new markets thanks to the vine with unmistakable elegance: the enfant terrible Pinot Nero; ready to stand beside the now iconic red of the winery, the Frank!

The new Pinot Nero too aspires to captivate customers with its elegance and complexity, a result of the selection of 7 different clones.

A decidedly complex and elegant wine, with a velvety aroma of fruity and floral notes. Refreshing on the palate, it is balanced and silky, able to enchant from the first sip.

A new dream becomes reality.
