HOREQ 2016 will once again be held alongside Fitur

At HOREQ’16 the spotlight will be on equipment for the hospitality and tourism sectors to set the show apart and offer top quality tourist products.

The show will also welcome new sectors including ‘Health, Wellness and Fitness’, and ‘Suppliers for the Tourism Industry’.

Madrid, 17 June  2015. After the successful turnout at the last edition of HOREQ, which was held in January at the same time as the FITUR 2015 professional fair, this commercial platform will once again be placed at companies’ disposal alongside the FITUR show. HOREQ, which will now be called the Professional Show for Suppliers in the Hospitality and Tourism Sectors, is strengthening its position in the tourist industry and will be holding its eighth edition organised by IFEMA from 20 to 22 January 2016 in Hall 2 of FERIA DE MADRID.

Participants at HOREQ 2015 agreed that the idea of holding the Show at the same time as FITUR was a very wise decision. Turnout at the event was successful, with more than 200 companies and brands coming together from 13 different countries to impress 7000 professional visitors.

With 120 exhibitors showcasing their equipment and solutions for the tourist sector, HOREQ’16 aims to offer the entire sector the tools it needs to achieve innovation, competitive advantage, differentiation and good management, and to provide the market with TOP QUALITY tourism products and services. Quality tourism products will be the underlying theme linking all suppliers and products.

HOREQ 2016 is growing to include two new sectors: on the one hand, Health, Wellness and Fitness, which is aimed at suppliers who provide hotels with products related to this sector; and on the other hand, Suppliers in the Tourism Industry, which covers equipment and services for the fields of entertainment, leisure and tourism.

Other sectors that were already present in previous editions are:  TechnHoreq: Technology and Know-How; MachinArea: Equipment for Kitchens & Restaurants and Vending;Comfort Area: Design, Interior Design and Decoration; HouseHoldHoreq: Textiles, Household Goods and Accessories; CleanHoreq: Hygiene and Cleaning; and Food&Drinks: Food and Beverages.

A whole range of products intended for professionals working in the fields of Hotels and Accommodation, Restaurants, Bars and Cafés, and Tourism.
