TENUTE SALENTINE: WINES OF CHARACTER

“It took years, commitment and sacrifices but, despite the common adversities, here we are, with 5 hectares of vineyard, an annual production of 14,000 bottles and 14 labels that describe who we are”. You can find us in Carosino, province of Taranto, in the fertile land of Salento.

This is where in 2015 – after about three generations of winemaking experience – the father Mario Marinelli together with his son Giovanni, just twenty years old, gave life to their biggest dream: Tenute Salentine.

Mario is still touched when – with a look at the past – remembers the path that led him to Tenute Salentine. He started from purchasing the grapes for personal production, now they run hectares of vineyards producing wines for the most demanding palates.

A simple story that might sound common, yet able to reveal personality: the first characteristic of the wines that they proudly produce.
