Slow Wine Fair, the international fair of good, clean and fair wine

23-25 February 2025, at BolognaFiere, the 4th edition of Slow Wine Fair

Slow Wine Fair, the only international exhibition dedicated to good, clean and fair wine, resulting from sustainable agriculture, returns for its fourth edition at BolognaFiere from Sunday 23 to Tuesday 25 February 2025. Organized by BolognaFiere and SANA, the International Exhibition of Organic and Natural Products, under the artistic direction of Slow Food, the Slow Wine Fair is further enriched by its concomitance with SANA Food, the new format on the world of healthy and organic food.

Slow Wine Fair 2024 closed in February with a very positive balance: 12,000 entries (+25% compared to 2023), 70% of which from the trade. The 1,000 exhibiting wineries (+40%), more than half of which were certified organic, biodynamic or in conversion, proposed over 5,000 qualified labels, chosen on the basis of the requirements set out in the Slow Food Manifesto of good, clean and fair wine, the Slow Wine guide and the assessments of a commission of experts. There was a wide range of origins: all Italian regions and 27 countries of the world were present, with more than 170 foreign producers and the new entries from Australia, Japan, Mexico, South Africa and Sweden.

At Slow Wine Fair, thousands of professional appointments were set up between wineries, operators and 200 selected international buyers, thus creating the conditions for exhibitors to access new markets. A result achieved with the support of ITA – Italian Trade Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the B2Match platform.

Conferences and masterclasses were sold out, and also highly appreciated were the Fiera dell’Amaro d’Italia by Amaroteca and ANADI – Associazione Nazionale Amaro d’Italia, where 23 producers of excellence told the history and production methods of their bitters, the new Slow Bar, with meetings and tastings on spirits, and the sustainability partners area, which highlighted innovative technologies, plants, equipment and services related to the wine supply chain.
