ALPINE EXCELLENCE: LAURETANA WATER REVEALS THE SECRETS OF ITS DISTINCTIVE PURITY AND LIGHTNESS

Lauretana mineral water is one of the most appreciated in Italy and abroad for its purity and lightness. In this interview, the editorial team wanted to delve into the distinctive features of this highly prized water and discover how its alpine origin and bottling processes contribute to its premium quality.

What are the distinctive features of Lauretana water and how do these characteristics influence its quality?

Lauretana water stands out for its incredibly low fixed residue of only 14 milligrams per liter, making it the lightest water in Europe. This unique characteristic, along with other values such as a total hardness of 0.60 °f, pH of 6.0, and low sodium content of only 0.88 mg/l, helps prevent kidney stone formation, aids digestion, and prevents cellular oxidation processes. Additionally, its low sodium content makes Lauretana ideal for low-sodium diets.

Where does Lauretana water come from, and how does its origin contribute to its purity?

This water springs from the hydrogeological area of the Monte Rosa glacier, at over 1,000 meters above sea level, in an uncontaminated area free from industrial and agricultural settlements. Its alpine origin and the fact that it flows underground for kilometers through an ancient granite bed contribute to its purity and protect it from microbiological contamination.

What geological factors play a determining role in the purity of your water?

The most significant geological factor for the purity of Lauretana water is its underground journey through an ancient granite bed that protects all its organoleptic qualities, keeping it microbiologically pure.

What bottling processes are used to maintain its purity?

Lauretana water is bottled near the source through a “natural gravity” process that allows it to maintain all its original properties by not altering or destroying its vital molecules.

What are the health benefits of this water compared to other mineral waters on the market?

Lauretana water is ideal for hydration because it promotes water exchange, optimal renal function, keeps body tissues hydrated, and gives elasticity and freshness to the skin. Thanks to its slightly acidic pH, it also favors digestive processes, making it ideal for consumption during and after meals.

How does Lauretana differentiate itself from its competitors in the premium beverage world, and how does this differentiation reflect on the brand image?

Differentiation comes from its lightness and purity, which are its strengths. Additionally, being the lightest water in Europe gives it a status of excellence that makes it particularly appreciated by families who choose wellness and high-end restaurants where it is possible to find its premium edition in transparent glass, designed by the famous Italian designer Pininfarina.

The image of the Lauretana brand reflects its quality, purity, and lightness, making it a highend mineral water of great value in the market.
