The historic Italian liqueur manufacturer Beltion was founded in 1952 in Putignano, by Giacomo Giannandrea, the third generation of a family of entrepreneurs and expert almond producers for almost 140 years.
Back in 1885, at their café in Putignano’s old town, Giacomo Giannandrea’s maternal grandparents used to make and sell a delicious beverage made with fresh almonds ground in a large stone mortar, still today jealously preserved in the company.
Time has witnessed the success and growth of Beltion, now run by the fourth generation. Today as then, the values of the founder, the secret recipes, the selection of the best raw materials, are the perfect guidelines to pass on to the Giannandrea family’s – Italian master liqueur makers – fifth generation.
More recently, the maximum attention to an eco-sustainable management of the production chain has been added to founder’s values.
