Frozen pasta: artisanal quality at global scale

For over twenty years, Unipasta has been producing fresh frozen pasta with the key aim of bringing the unrivalled goodness of homemade pasta to consumers’ tables world-wide.

The hallmark and main asset of our production has always been the ‘Made in Italy’ feature – pasta that, drawing on the renowned culinary tradition s of Emilia-Romagna, can reach any country in the world thanks to the extended shelf-life typical of frozen products. Whilst an industrial production, Unipasta still follows many of the artisanal techniques typical of our region.

We have consistently strived to provide our customers with products that have a clean label, free from any semi-finished products, preservatives, or added additives, and made solely from natural ingredients, mostly of Italian origin. Over 50% of our production is “organic” certified, almost entirely going to foreign markets.

The current focus is on producing high-quality pre-cooked products. The concept that pre-cooked food is an inferior product is now universally outdated.

In fact, with genuine raw materials and appropriate recipes, it can become an important support for chefs in reducing preparation times, but also lead to significant energy savings.

Being able to provide an exceptional product in a short time whilst reducing energy consumption is a key factor in a time when everything is moving faster and time is tight.

Unipasta has consistently been a flexible company in terms of production, willing to accept and handle customer demands. Today, more than ever, we are offering our customers the opportunity to customize not just the product itself, but the entire production process as well.

We start with the development of a bespoke recipe, through to the in-line production of the product, right up to bespoke packaging and private-labeled branding . In a market with ever-increasing competition, our key strength lies in the ability to offer a unique and distinctive product.
