Sardanelli presents a new line of ready-made sauces

Three new references mark the entry of Sardanelli, a brand belonging to the Intertonno s.r.l. company, into one of the trendiest markets in Italy – the ready-made sauces.

The company, which boasts a centuries-old tradition in the processing and marketing of fish products, has recently presented three ready-made fish-based sauces: squid ink sauce, tuna sauce and a sauce containing olives, capers and tuna.

Sardanelli hence expands its product range, capable of targeting and satisfying the needs of consumers who choose a ready-to-eat product that is versatile and quick to use, without sacrificing the taste and quality that distinguish the brand.

With Sardanelli’s ready-made sauces it is indeed possible not only to bring the taste of the sea to the table, preparing first courses and other dishes worthy of a restaurant, but also to discover a new way of eating Sardanelli tuna, the company’s flagship product.

In fact, two of the ready-made sauces were produced using Sardanelli yellowfin tuna in olive oil processed in the Maierato plant in Calabria, an area that boasts an ancient tradition of tuna processing, still passed down today.

The same quality of tuna was chased in the other raw materials, selecting the best quality of squid, olive oil, Italian tomatoes and Sicilian olives and capers.

For Intertonno s.r.l this is the second brand extension. Last year, the company had previously entered the market for typical Calabrian products, with a line which included the “tarallini” with olive oil, fennel and chilli pepper, the white and wholemeal “frees”, and the “fileja” – a traditional Calabrian pasta format.

The new sauces can be purchased on the company’s e-commerce.
