Two prestigious prizes for Birrificio della Granda, which emerged victorious from the Barcelona festival.
The sixth edition of the international Barcelona Beer Challenge competition saw Birrificio della Granda triumph with two medals: a gold for GHOSST in the Belgian Blond & Strong Ale category and a silver for ÆRO in the American Pale Ale category.
The new beers of Granda are gaining more and more recognition, after the two medals won in Brussels, the position of ÆRO is consolidated, which in addition to being an award-winning American Pale Ale is also Gluten Free.
The satisfaction of having obtained these results at such an important event is reflected in the words of the master brewer Ivano Astesana: “For us it is a source of pride and great satisfaction to see our work and our efforts recognized with awards such as these. We have worked hard and tried to face the difficult period by innovating and investing in continuous research. We are really happy to have been awarded considering also the amount of beers present and the level of this event.”
Barcelona Beer Challenge is indeed a globally renowned event that hosts 50 international judges and more than 1200 beer samples from around the world.
