EIGHT EDITION OF LEVANTE PROF: THE EXCELLENCE OF THE "MADE IN ITALY" AGRI-FOOD IS BACK IN BARI

Taking place from 12 to 15 March 2023 in Fiera del Levante, the international event will host over 200 companies showcasing the latest products and solutions in the food, bakery, pastry, pizzeria and fresh pasta, ice cream, beer, wine, bar, catering, packaging, public establishments & hotels sectors.

The excellence of the “made in Italy” agri-food is back in Bari. More than 200 companies from all over the country and abroad have already confirmed their participation in the eighth edition of Levante PROF, the international bakery, pastry, pizzeria and fresh pasta, ice cream, beer, wine, bars, restaurants, packaging and hotels taking place from 12th to 15th March at the Fiera del Levante in Bari.

For four days the Apulian capital will become the capital of the “made in Italy” agri-food and will welcome all the communities of the sector for an eighth edition which is already sold-out and which has entirely occupied over 20 thousand square meters of exhibition space in the new pavilion fair.

The exhibitors will present the latest news on products, technologies, equipment, furnishings, semi-finished products, raw materials and on new trends and innovations for artisan ice cream, pastry and bakery and catering items.

The eighth edition of Levante PROF will also give great importance to side events, such as show cooking, seminars, conferences and contests – which will take place both in the common areas and in the exhibitors’ stands – to train and update visitors on the new products shown and on the new market trends. In addition to this, a rich schedule of initiatives aimed at an international audience has been planned.

Among these, Divina Colomba which will involve more than 150 competitors from all over the national territory – only 50 pastry chefs will be the protagonists of the final match which will award the best artisan “colomba” in Italy – scheduled for Monday 13 March in an area dedicated to the fair; the ice cream contest which, organized in collaboration with the Associazione Italiana Gelatieri and the sector magazine Punto It, will involve plentiful master ice cream makers who will come to Bari from all over Italy to participate in the contest which will award the PuntoIT Trophy; and numerous cooking shows, masterclasses and training courses held by innovators and authoritative representatives of the world of catering, beverage and hospitality.
