INIMITABLE FRAGRANCE

Taralli are one of the most fragrant flavors product of Puglia. But they are not all the same. At first sight they may seem similar, interchangeable, but it’s the flavour that makes the difference. Fragrantini® stand out themselves for their inimitable fragrance. The secret are the sourdough and the slow rising: the round shape and the wrinkled surface make their flavour unique. Fragrantini® were born three generations ago, when Aldo, father of Antonio and Francesco, current company’s owners, wondered what the key was: “I want to create a product so people can feel the difference between this and other taralli!”. 

And so it began! Then, generation after generation, Fiore’s family have never forgotten their goals: to risk, to improve and to give the best quality. 

Even in 2020, during the pandemic, our company has not stopped working, and invested into a new production line technologically advanced. 

A choice that required the dismantling of the old production line, aspiring to an increasingly fragrant and pleasantly toasted product. 

The goals of this investment are: 

– Increasing food safety standards, as the worker never comes into direct contact with the product; 

– A superior quality of the product, because the whole system, including a mixer with beater arms, allows the dough to remain elastic and not get overworked.

The final result is a safer product and a flavour that remains true to the traditional making. Also the boiling process is done by immersion, according to the old tradition. It’s this ongoing task allowed Fragrantini® to win the Product of the Year 2021 Award, in the salty snacks category. The product has been chosen by 12,000 Italian customers who preferred it to other competitors. The award is the result of a new recipe, after two years of work. So now we can enjoy a lighter and more fragrant product, with a lower salt intake, with greater digestibility.
