SANA Food

22 – 24 February 2026

SANA Food is BolognaFiere‘s b2b format dedicated to healthy eating out of home.

From 22 to 24 February, trade visitors looking to diversify their offering in the Horeca sector, traditional specialised channels, restaurant-retail and delicatessens will find at SANA Food producers selected for the authenticity, consistency and innovation of their products, in line with consumers who are increasingly oriented towards food and beverages that are good for both the body and the environment.

The focus at SANA Food will be on everything that is ‘good’: organic, biodynamic, veg, PDO, PGI, TSG and functional, but that’s not all. Through themed itineraries and guided presentations, new focuses will explore local specialities such as extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar, honey and herbal teas.

SANA Food will also feature the brand new Social Food Area, dedicated to fair trade and sustainable agricultural production, resulting from social reintegration programmes or land confiscated from criminal organisations.

To consolidate SANA Food’s role in the organic and veg sectors, the long-standing partnerships respectively with FederBio, which has always been an ambassador for certified and environmentally friendly supply chains, and with V-Label Italia, the international benchmark brand in the certification of vegetarian and vegan products, synonymous with transparency and trust for consumers, have been confirmed.

New for the 2026 edition is the partnership with Slow Food Promozione, aimed at promoting conscious eating with a strong ethical imprint, based on the protection of biodiversity and attention to health and sustainability.

The SANA Food exhibition area will welcome producers from Slow Food Presidia and networks, as well as hosting training sessions, tastings and round tables on key topics in the debate on agri-food policies.

Thanks to the concurrent Slow Wine Fair, which will be held in two pavilions adjacent to SANA Food (all accessible with a single admission ticket), the business community will have the opportunity to discover over 1,000 wineries and more than 6,000 labels of good, clean and fair wine, along a path that highlights the inseparable relationship between food and wine.

Among the most eagerly awaited events at SANA Food is the 7th edition of Rivoluzione Bio, the most authoritative forum for business leaders, stakeholders, experts and institutions to discuss the state of the art of organic farming in Italy.

During the event, which aims to promote organic agri-food as a strategic lever for the country’s development, the SANA 2026 Observatory data by Nomisma on consumption in the Horeca channel and organic exports will be previewed.

With the support of the ITA – Italian Trade Agency, there will be ample opportunities for matchmaking through b2b meetings with carefully profiled national and international buyers: Horeca importers, high-end restaurants and eco-boutiques, hotels and historic taverns, catering services and school canteens, restaurants dedicated to sustainable and organic cuisine, organic shops, gourmet delicatessens, fair trade shops, and Ethical Purchasing Groups.

The event areas of the exhibition will revolve around the OoH! Lab, with tastings, meetings and masterclasses for the Horeca channel, and the Lab Academy, which will host workshops, seminars and conferences.
