The seventh edition of Levante PROF, the most important fair in the South of Italy that enhances the real “made in Italy” agri-food industry, is back in attendance from September 26 to 29 at Fiera del Levante in Bari (Italy). Bakery, pastry, pizzeria and fresh pasta, ice cream, beer, wine, bars, restaurants, packaging and hotels are the sectors in which the trade fair organized by DMP Srl of Rome is specialized.

The goal of Levante PROF is to bring together the entire wheat supply chain, the transformation and processing of raw materials, packaging and furnishings in a single location, and offer all trade operators an event capable of creating concrete opportunities of business on the national and international market. The main Italian companies have confirmed their participation in Levante PROF to showcase the latest cutting-edge products and dictate the new market trends and innovation.

In addition to the exhibition, the fair will offer a rich program of events – cooking shows, seminars, conferences and contests, which will take place over the four days of the fair both in the common areas and in the exhibitors’ stands.

Many initiatives are being organized. Among these, Élite del Panettone Artigianale, the competition dedicated to il Panettone, the typical leavened dessert of Christmas, organized by Massimiliano Dell’Aera, founder of Goloasi.it – web portal dedicated to pastry and ice cream shops -, and competitions on the best ice cream, the best pizza and much else.
