Centuries-old tradition in grain trade and milling
Ipam Group is composed of two companies specialized by activities. It was established in 1982 by the Manenti family, who has a centuries-old tradition in grain trade and milling. During the early years of activity, the production was focused on breadcrumbs, which saw an immediate and great success in the Italian market. This was achieved thanks to a broad assortment, high quality and performance of the product, but also thanks to the satisfactory service to clients. All these features proved to be distinctive compared to domestic and foreign competition.
Over the years, the range of products has been broadened with the introduction of new professional resources and the significant investments in research and technological development. This allowed IPAM Group to acquire new Italian and international clients. It is composed of two production units: Ipam: which is specialized in breadcrumbs for stuffing and breading, with a production capacity of about 30,000 tons per year. Unlike the competition, which re-uses and recovers materials from other processes, our breadcrumbs are produced from flour. Then this is processed using an automated system with kneading machines to obtain small pieces of bread. Finally, the baked bread is grated and packed in appropriate packaging.
Ipam ingredienti: which is specialized in the production of functional dry blends (semi-manufactured with different degree of flavouring, colour and particle size; batters and other ingredients for béchamel, sauces, stuffing, ‘gnocchi’, crêpes, desserts, etc.) and technological dry blends (binders and thickeners, seasoning and flavouring, microencapsulated, etc). It has a production capacity of about 10,000 tons per year. Today, the company is located in Zibello (Parma). Its workplace covers an area of about 10,000 sq.m., it is highly automated with all the most innovative technology in the field and employs around 30 people.
