Slow Wine Fair<\/a>,<\/strong> the only international fair for good, clean and fair win<\/strong>e, organized by BolognaFiere<\/strong> with the artistic direction of Slow Food<\/strong>, has closed its fourth edition with a very positive outcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simultaneously, SANA Food<\/strong>, BolognaFiere\u2019s new format on healthy eating away from home<\/strong>, took place. The two partnered events (with a single entrance ticket) welcomed 15,000 attendees<\/strong> (+20% compared to 2024) and 300 buyers from 20 countries, selected also thanks to ITA – Italian Trade Agency.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 2,000 B2B meetings involved the more than 1,050 wineries<\/strong> in Slow Wine Fair (including 720 organic or biodynamic) and 250 businesses at SANA Food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Slow Wine Fair, professionals and enthusiasts had the opportunity to discover and taste more than 6,000 wines <\/strong>from sustainable viticulture, while at SANA Food the itinerary ranged from the product areas of organic and biodynamic food, vegan, plant-based and vegetarian beverages and foods, functional foods <\/strong>\u2013 including free-from and rich-in \u2013, for athletes, the elderly, children, people with allergies or intolerances and those following specific diets, along with PDO, PGI and TSG certified specialties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Slow Wine Fair hosted 1,200 exhibitors<\/strong> from all Italian regions and 29 countries. 40% of them have already started the process of reducing bottle weight _ a key focus of the call to action launched by the Slow Wine Coalition _ and adopted other innovations regarding bottle stoppers, labels and boxes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation in the 100-plus<\/strong> scheduled events was remarkable: they included 17 masterclasses, 22 conferences and presentations, the tastings in the regional stands and the Terroir and Slow Spirit Wine List Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Excellent feedback also for the fifth Fiera dell\u2019Amaro d\u2019Italia by Amaroteca and ANADI, which brought 26 companies from 13 regions to BolognaFiere, and for Mixology Lab, which featured spirits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, two new features 2025 proved highly popular: the roasters from the Slow Food Coffee Coalition and cider producers. Slow Wine Fair will return at BolognaFiere from 22 to 24 February 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
