Slow Wine Fair<\/strong>,<\/a> the only international fair for good, clean and fair wine, returns for its third edition at BolognaFiere from Sunday 25 to Tuesday 27 February<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event is organized by BolognaFiere<\/strong> and SANA<\/strong>, the International Exhibition of Organic and Natural Products, under the artistic direction of Slow Food<\/strong>, and promotes wines from sustainable agriculture<\/strong>, which is focused on the defence of biodiversity and agricultural landscape, the judicious use of its resources, the socio-cultural growth of rural communities, and an increasing consumer awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approximately one thousand <\/strong>exhibitors<\/strong><\/a>, representing the entire wine supply chain<\/strong>: from wineries<\/strong>, selected by a commission of experts<\/strong>, to the world of Italian bitter liqueurs (amaro) <\/strong>\u2013 with the Fiera dell\u2019Amaro d’Italia<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>\u2013 and spirits<\/strong>, to give space also to after-meals, and supply chain partners <\/strong><\/a>that offer machinery, equipment and innovative technologies to improve the sustainability of the agricultural system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In many cases, the wineries will offer certified organic or biodynamic wines<\/strong> for tasting, thanks also to BolognaFiere’s long-standing collaboration with FederBio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to Italian wines<\/strong>, there are exhibitors from wine-producing neighbors<\/strong> like Austria, France, Germany and Spain, as well as from further field<\/strong>, including Argentina, Chile, Georgia, Turkey, Australia and China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the support of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), the Chambers of Commerce and BolognaFiere’s network of agents, numerous foreign buyers<\/strong> have been recruited and the share of operators from Central-Northern Europe<\/strong> is significant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These professionals can use an online matching service<\/strong><\/a> to set up one-to-one meetings<\/strong> with potential business partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the most eagerly awaited appointments at the Slow Wine Fair are the Masterclasses<\/strong><\/a>, the guided tastings<\/strong> exploring both the Italian and international wine scene and the bitters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The focus of the meetings in the Arenas<\/strong>, on the other hand, is the fertility of the soil<\/strong>, the main theme<\/strong> of the 2024 edition. Slow Wine Fair is a b2b event aimed at the Horeca and large-scale retail trade<\/strong>, but on Sunday 25<\/strong> its doors are also open to all wine lovers<\/strong> interested in broadening their tasting horizons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
