Italy’s Industrie Montali, focused on made in Italy products, continues expanding especially in foreign markets, albeit in a climate of uncertainties that sees rising production costs in every link of the production chain.
This is a trend that originated in 2021 and has been exacerbated by the energy and international crisis related to the war in Ukraine. Despite this, on a commercial level, exports are rewarding, even in times of crisis.
“Among the novelties concerning the ready-to-use product range, there is the development of new high-precision processing lines, which are more performing both for single-portion sachet packaging and for processed products offered in tubes. The change in daily rhythms and lifestyles is significantly modifying our relationship with food and, therefore, the demand for innovative products is growing, alongside the new emerging food trends,” said Stefania Montali, marketing manageress and owner of Industrie Montali, in taking stock of the commercial situation in the first half of 2022.
Industrie Montali’s flagship products are highly appreciated by international markets and, as of now, include ready-made sauces, pates and double tomato paste. With the latter, among thousands of participants, the company won the Great Taste Awards 2022 with the star of “Simply delicious, a food that delivers fantastic flavour”.
And it is with this significant win that Industrie Montali is preparing for the SIAL exhibition, which will take place in France from 15 to 19 October, where it will present, together with the leading products, the new Salsa Line and the new Chef Line, and where it will propose itself both to the retail sector, to the HoReCa and private label sectors.
