From generations the family Montresor lives in this pleasant town, Corte Gioliare in Lazise, where the vine has found the ideal climate and soil. Around 1970, change the agrarian laws, with the purchase of some land, grandfather Giuseppe Montresor has also started to produce wine for sale. Only in 1989, Giovanni and Giacomo, have embarked on the path of commercialization of all their products. Since 2012 Giovanni Montresor took responsibility company along with its three sons, Luca, Mara and Sonia, offers the public a wide range of wines, honey and oil.

The vineyards, about 20 hectares, are located mainly near the winery, on the Gardalake. The ground of the moraine hills in Garda-Verona, the area of Bardolino Doc wine, has a particular aptitude. The mild climate, with wild winters and temperate summers, is a very important factor in the positive characterization of the grapes and the resulting wine. Some vines are cultivated with the “Pergola trentina” system, while the new vineyards are worked with cordon renewal technique. All the different phases of the care of vineyards and the harvest of the grapes are directly followed by father and son.
